Audits under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Scheme (GGAS) must be performed by a member of the Audit and Technical Services Panel (the Panel). The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) has reviewed the qualifications of each firm and allows Panel members to provide audits only under the GGAS Rules where they have demonstrated experience. All auditors may provide advice or consultancy services (where no conflict of interest exists).

The following tables lists the members of the Panel and the GGAS Rules under which they may conduct audits. GGAS participants seeking to engage an auditor should contact the firms below (keeping in mind that IPART needs to approve all appointments prior to any audit commencing).

Rule 4 - Large User
Rule 5 - Carbon Sequestration 

Where a Panel member has technical expertise, but may lack experience in conducting audits, they are approved to provide technical services (such as consulting or advisory services). These firms may not perform audits.
